The manufacturing techniques used for steel

Like stainless steel, precise finishing techniques are also possible. These techniques include: browning, thermolaquing and plating.

The tackle and thermolaquing

The veneer is a technique that involves applying a thin layer of a noble metal to steel to protect it from corrosion and give it a precise appearance. Many metals can be plated on steel such as copper, brass, bronze. As long as the coating is continuous and without porosity, only the noblest metal is exposed, and the latter acts as a barrier to protect the metal below from corrosion.

Thermolaquing is the most common method of surface protection for steel. This technique actually involves applying powder paint to steel parts that have previously undergone surface preparation. Once done, it is then baked. In the end, the furniture becomes stronger and more durable.

Browning

Browning is a technique that protects the steel and gives it a black hue. The cold browning process improves the resistance to abrasion, corrosion and aesthetics of the room. Specially designed for workshops, the process involves a degreasing step, immersion in a surface conditioner and in the browning solution.

Finishing techniques used for stainless steel

Depending on the nature of the project, we use the best finishing techniques, used in the final phase of the manufacture of furniture and architectural elements.

Brushing

Brushing stainless steel is a technique by which the material manages to have a texture that is both brushed and matte. Even if the brushed furniture were to be scratched or scratched, they appear very little. Your furniture will always be able to maintain its beautiful shiny and satiny appearance. This is particularly the case with a stair ramp or a guardrail.

The mirror polish

For furniture such as a stair ramp or railing, materials such as stainless steel can be used. In order to offer a worthy finish to the works produced, our teams opt for Technical like mirror polish. Apart from the fact that it allows to get a better aesthetic appearance. It will be durable over time, without the owner being able to fear deterioration. This will, of course, require regular and adequate maintenance.
